Jakarta, on April 23, 2015 The Directorate General of Intellectual Property Rights (DGIP) invite the IPR Consultant to discuss the use of WIPO file in realizing the DGIP as an international standard institution. The discussion is related to the IPR e-filing registration system using IPAS (Intellectual Property Automation System), especially in the field of Patents, Industrial Designs and Trademarks.
The cooperation between DGIP with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) for the development of IPAS has been started since the end of 2011. At the moment, for Patents, Industrial Designs and Trademarks systems are already in production. Meanwhile for e-Copyright had just started running as of March 2015. WIPO File is a product of registration service for Patent, Industrial Design and Trademark developed by WIPO with DGIP as Pilot Office and this service will be integrated with the online payment system (SIMPONI) of the Ministry of Finance as e-payment and at the moment WIPO File already in beta testing.
